Hawaii

These pictures are a bit delayed but at least I am posting them! Mark and I had the opportunity to travel to Hawaii for 5 days a few weeks ago. It was a wonderful, warm, relaxing trip that we both really enjoyed. Mark did have some work to do but we still had plenty of time to take in some sights!

This was in the rainforest on a little hike we took up to place called Manoa falls. It was very lush, beautiful and very damp!

This is the view from Diamond Head. It's an old volcanic crater that you can hike up the edge of for a great view of Waikiki and Honolulu.
This was my upward view while laying on the beach one morning.

Hamauna Bay, we went snorkeling here. You can see the dark areas in the water which are coral. We saw many cool fish and even spent a bit of time swimming with a sea turtle. That was quite a treat! It's a beautiful, secluded place.

Here we are at the falls, the waterfall behind us when up for a long ways on a sheer cliff that was somehow covered with plants. We had a great time. We also went to Pearl Harbor and scoped out some authenic Hawaiian food at a local restaurant. We were so thankful for the chance to go see another wonderful corner of God's creation.
